Official statement announcing the suspension of activities by the Zoroastrian representation in Baghdad after years of challenges, emphasizing the need for legislation to ensure the rights of religious components in Iraq.

The 5th branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party welcomed on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Dr. Hayder Asfoor, the head of the Zoroastrian religion representation in Baghdad, and his accompanying delegation at the branch's headquarters in Baghdad.

Dr. Haider Asfou, Head of the Zoroastrian Representation – Main Office in Baghdad, participated in the 9th Annual International Community Chamber Conference held on November 25, 2025, with the participation of representatives from 72 countries and eight world religions.<br> Dr. Asfou's participation came within the framework of joint efforts to promote the values of peace and mutual understanding, where he received an official message from the President of the International Social Chamber, Alexander Olchievski, in which he expressed his deep appreciation for the role of the Zoroastrian Representation and its effective contribution to the success of the conference events and the beginning of the third cycle of the Chamber for the period 2025–2030.
