On the occasion of the World Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the High Commission for Human Rights in Iraq organized the expanded conference in cooperation with the Popular Salvation Organization, which was held on July 21, 2025, with official participation and the presence of legislative bodies, the Ministry of Interior - Directorate of Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, civil society organizations, the Ministry of Health, and others.
The conference discussed the dangerous social challenges that are no less than the danger of terrorism and limiting their spread and solutions.
