The book, which consists of more than 191 pages, provides an in-depth study of the journey of Zoroastrianism through major civilizations, starting from the call of the Prophet Zarathustra and his first teachings, through the Achaemenid and Sassanid eras, then the stage of the advent of Islam and the transformations that followed, and up to the status of Zoroastrians in the modern era in Iran, Iraq, India, Pakistan, and other countries of the world.
In the same context, Dr. Haider Asfūr, head of the Representation, confirmed that this work aims to document the identity of the Zoroastrian religion and highlight its cultural and intellectual role, as well as to introduce new generations to the roots of this ancient heritage, its rituals, symbols, and contributions to human thought.
This book is considered a basic reference for postgraduate students, researchers, and those interested in Zoroastrianism, as it includes a historical narrative and in-depth analysis of the doctrines, rituals, and development of Zoroastrian thought throughout the ages.
It is expected that this publication will be an important addition to the Arab and Islamic library, and a step towards enhancing the presence of the Zoroastrian religion in the Iraqi and regional cultural and intellectual scene.
