The Islamic Call Party / State of Law Bloc received Dr. Haider Asfour, head of the Zoroastrian Representation - Main Office, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, and he was received by Dr. Hassan Al-Seneid and Mr. Hussam Al-Jaberi.
The visit came within the framework of enhancing the values of societal pluralism and peaceful coexistence among different religions and sects in Iraq.
During the meeting, Dr. Hassan Al-Seneid welcomed Dr. Haider Asfour, praising the Zoroastrian religion and its ancient moral philosophy, affirming that it is one of the old monotheistic religions that enjoys respect. He added: "It is our legal and national duty to preserve all religious beliefs and protect the rights of minorities through legislation and laws, and to consolidate a culture of coexistence that distinguishes Iraq with its religious and national diversity. We have sworn under the dome of Parliament to serve the people without discrimination, and these principles are the essence of the work of the Islamic Call Party and the State of Law Bloc.."
On his part, Dr. Haider Asfour expressed his thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Seneid and the State of Law coalition for the warm reception, stressing the importance of these initiatives in consolidating bridges of communication between the various Iraqi components and supporting the representation of the Zoroastrian religion in Baghdad and preserving diversity..
