Zoroastrian Representation Participates in the Signing Ceremony of a Book on Mandaeans

The Zoroastrian representation participated in a book signing ceremony about the Mandaeans, stressing the importance of academic studies in documenting the history and culture of Iraqi components and promoting understanding of cultural and religious diversity.
A delegation from the Zoroastrian representation in Iraq participated in the signing ceremony of the book "The Mandaeans: A Study of Their Social, Cultural, and Political Conditions 2003-2018", which was held on April 11, 2025, as part of important cultural activities aimed at documenting the history and culture of Iraqi components.
This book is considered a specialized academic study that sheds light on the reality of the Mandaean sect in Iraq during an important period in the country's history, where it addresses the challenges and opportunities faced by this original component, in addition to its civilizational and cultural contributions to Iraqi society.
The Zoroastrian representation, during its participation, emphasized the importance of such academic studies in documenting the history and culture of various Iraqi components, and their role in enhancing understanding of cultural and religious diversity in Iraq, praising the efforts made in preparing this distinguished work.
