Zoroastrian Representation Participates in the Anniversary of the Death of Companion Salman Al-Mohammadi (RA) in Al-Mada'in

Participation from the Zoroastrian representation in an annual mourning council at the shrine of Salman Al-Mohammadi (peace be upon him) confirms the spirit of brotherhood and national unity in Iraq.

The Zoroastrian representation in Iraq participated in the annual mourning council held at the shrine of Salman Al-Mohammadi (peace be upon him) in the Al-Mada'in area, to commemorate the death of the esteemed companion. This participation, which was attended by Dr. Haider Asfoor, was in response to an invitation from the special secretariat of the shrine, and an affirmation of the spirit of brotherhood and unity that brings together the sons of the Iraqi people from various religions and sects.

The council witnessed a wide presence of men of religion, social and cultural figures, and included words of condolence and remembrance delivered by Sheikh Farhan Al-Saadi, reciter Ali Fanjan Al-Kanani, and the Husseini poet Ammar Al-Kanani, in a spiritual atmosphere that reflected the status of the esteemed companion in the hearts of those present.

Dr. Haider Asfoor expressed his appreciation for this participation, stressing the importance of meetings that bring together the different Iraqi components. He also emphasized the role of holy shrines in promoting human and national values. This participation comes within the framework of the efforts of the Zoroastrian representation to promote peaceful coexistence and national unity in Iraq.
