At the invitation of British Ambassador to Iraq, Mr. Irfan Siddiq, Dr. Haider Asfoor participated in an art exhibition organized by the British Embassy in Baghdad, celebrating the richness and diversity of Iraq's religious and cultural components. The exhibition, held at the British Embassy, featured a collection of distinguished artworks that reflected the ancient heritage of Iraqi minorities and highlighted their contributions to preserving national identity and cultural diversity. This event is part of efforts to promote the values of coexistence, peace, and understanding among various Iraqi components, and to highlight the role of art as a bridge for human communication and building a cohesive society based on mutual respect. The occasion included a series of meetings for Dr. Asfou with His Excellency Dr. Rami Joseph, the Head of Endowments for (Christian, Mandaean, and Yazidi) religions, and discussions took place on the most prominent challenges facing minority communities. He also expressed thanks to His Excellency the British Ambassador to Iraq for the attention given by the British government to the minority community, and in turn, reaffirmed the importance of diversity that adds beauty and strength to Iraqi society and the country's keenness to preserve this diversity. A friendly meeting also took place with His Excellency the Ambassador of the State of Qatar, during which greetings were conveyed to the government and people of brotherly Qatar, as well as with the Consul of the sister state of Kuwait and the Vatican.
