National Security Advisor Receives Zoroastrian Delegation at Main Office in Baghdad Baghdad – Media Office7 September 2025 The National Security Advisor, Qasim Al-Araji, received today, Sunday, a delegation from the Zoroastrian faith in Baghdad, headed by Dr. Haider Asfou. The two sides discussed during the meeting the importance of enhancing societal cohesion, consolidating values of coexistence and acceptance of others, as well as rejecting extremist discourse, which enhances societal peace in the country. Al-Araji emphasized that the diversity of Iraqi society constitutes a source of strength and unity, indicating that the government supports this diversity and works to empower all components to participate effectively in the democratic process and the building of the state.
