The Zoroastrian Representative Office in Iraq congratulates the leadership of the Afro-Asian Media Union on the success of their conference and the re-election of Dr. Nizar Al-Khalid as President
Baghdad – July 23, 2026 The Presidency of the Zoroastrian Faith Representative Office in Iraq sent an official congratulation to the leadership and members of the General Conference of the Afro-Asian Media Union on the successful holding of the Union's conference for 2026.
The representative office, chaired by Dr. Haidar Asfour, expressed sincere congratulations on the re-election of journalist Dr. Nizar Al-Khalid as President of the Union for the upcoming term, as well as extending congratulations to journalist Muhammad Al-Shafi'i on his election as Secretary-General of the Union.
The office also extended its highest congratulations to the deputy members who achieved victory in the Union elections.
The Zoroastrian Representative Office concluded its statement with a prayer that the elected leadership be granted success and guidance in performing their humanitarian and professional duties, for the benefit of building societies and strengthening the truthful word.
