Zoroastrian Representation Participates in a Camp for Education on Dialogue and Knowing the Other to Promote Coexistence

The Zoroastrian representation participated in a camp for education on dialogue organized by the Masarat foundation, including visits to religious landmarks and discussion sessions on the role of religious institutions in building peace and coexistence.

The Zoroastrian representation in Iraq participated in the camp "Education on Dialogue and Knowing the Other", organized by the "Masarat" foundation under the title "The Role of Religious Institutions in Dialogue as a Mechanism for Building Peace", with a wide participation from young people of different religions and components.

A youth delegation from the Zoroastrian representation - the main office included representatives of the Yazidi, Christian, and Mandaeans, in addition to civil activists from various nationalities and a team from civil society organizations.

The camp program included a visit to the holy city of Al-Kadhimiya on April 26, where the participants learned about the most prominent religious and historical landmarks of the city, and also witnessed a meeting with a discussion session with the religious reference, Sayyid Hussein Al-Sadr, which discussed the importance of interfaith dialogue in building societal peace.

The participants also visited the Human Dialogue Foundation and met with Sayyid Ala'a Al-Bahadli in a dialogue session that discussed concepts of coexistence and diversity.

This participation comes within the framework of the efforts of the representation to enhance a culture of dialogue between the Iraqi components, and building bridges of communication between young people from different religious and cultural backgrounds.
