Zoroastrian Representation Hosts Dialogue Camp Delegation in a Meeting that Combines Diversity and National Culture

The Zoroastrian representation received a delegation of participants in the dialogue education camp, in a dialogue meeting that included exchanging questions and inquiries, cultural and national paragraphs, confirming the importance of dialogue between religions in building peace.

A delegation of participants in the "Dialogue and Knowing the Other Education Camp", organized by the Masarat Foundation, visited the general headquarters of the Zoroastrian representation in Baghdad on April 28, as part of a youth activity that discussed the role of religious institutions in dialogue as a mechanism for building peace.

The visit included a meeting with a number of Zoroastrian individuals, where questions and inquiries were raised by the participating youth, and were answered in an atmosphere of respect and openness. The meeting included paragraphs of singing and presenting national poems that expressed a spirit of belonging and diversity.

Dr. Haider Asfoor, head of the Zoroastrian representation, emphasized the importance of such initiatives that open windows of dialogue between religions and components, adding: "We believe that knowledge leads to peace, and the more a person knows the other, the less the distance between them, and the more opportunities for living together are enhanced."

This event comes within a series of activities aimed at building bridges of communication between Iraqi youth from different religions and nationalities, and consolidating a culture of dialogue and peaceful coexistence.
