The head of the Zoroastrian representation in Baghdad, Dr. Haider Asfour, received on Saturday evening, 11th October 2025, the General Sheikh and advisor to the Prime Minister for tribal affairs, Adnan Hamid Shafi, the general sheikh of the Qara Lous tribe and the Kurds of the center, south and Feyli Kurds. During the meeting, the conditions of the Iraqi components and the importance of the Zoroastrian religion as an original part of Iraq's cultural heritage were discussed, emphasizing the need to enhance societal coexistence and consolidate a unifying national spirit among different segments. At the end of the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination to support stability and enhance national unity.
