"Hussain (AS) a Symbol of Justice and Reform in the Collective Human Conscience". A proposed symposium between the Zoroastrian Representation and the Special Secretariat of Salman Al-Mohammadi Shrine
Baghdad - Within the framework of enhancing religious and cultural dialogue between various Iraqi components, Dr. Abu Zahraa Al-Jubouri, the Special Secretary of Salman Al-Mohammadi Shrine (may God be pleased with him), received in his office in Baghdad, Dr. Haider Al-Asfoor, the head of the Zoroastrian Representation in Iraq.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the two institutions, especially in the areas of peaceful coexistence, and promoting concepts of understanding and mutual respect between religions. The two parties emphasized the importance of opening continuous communication channels to activate joint work that serves the unity of Iraqi society and the cohesion of its diverse fabric.
Dr. Abu Zahraa Al-Jubouri welcomed this visit, praising the initiatives that contribute to building bridges of communication and brotherhood between the sons of one homeland, considering the meeting a positive step towards further rapprochement and constructive dialogue.
In the context of the conversation, Dr. Haider Al-Asfoor proposed holding a symposium entitled: "Hussain (AS) a Symbol of Justice and Reform in the Collective Human Conscience", on the occasion of the upcoming Arbaeen visit, affirming that Imam Hussain's personality (AS) represents a common denominator in human conscience, and inspires those seeking freedom and justice in different times and societies.
The proposal was welcomed by Dr. Al-Jubouri, and the two parties agreed to coordinate to hold the symposium soon, with the participation of religious and intellectual figures from various spectrums, to be a platform for dialogue that highlights the universal values embodied by Imam Hussain (AS).
