Official Statement: Zoroastrian Representation in Baghdad Suspends Activities
During these years, the representation has worked to promote the values of coexistence, represent the Zoroastrian community, and seek to convey their voice in various forums, but the continuation of these conditions without any realistic solutions has made it extremely difficult to continue.
As we announce this decision, we hope that the next parliament will seriously address the situations of all religious components, work to legislate laws that ensure their rights, and provide them with full protection and recognition, in line with the principles of the constitution and the spirit of the state and the diversity that Iraq is built upon.
In conclusion, we extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has stood with us and contributed to supporting our mission throughout our years of work.
