- Dr. Haider Asfour participated today, Saturday, September 20, 2025, along with his accompanying delegation, in the invitation made by the Cultural Committee at Al-Aliya Club, to attend a symposium titled "Food Security: Crisis or Goal?", presented by Dr. Muhammad Abbas Al-Obeidi.

- During the symposium, Dr. Asfour posed a set of fundamental questions that touched on the core of the subject and contributed to enriching the dialogue and expanding the circle of discussion among the attendees.

- The event was attended by a selection of academics and businessmen specializing in the food security sector, where they discussed current challenges and future opportunities, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to develop practical visions that contribute to achieving food security as a strategic goal.
