Zoroastrians celebrate every year on February 24th (Isfandgan) the Zoroastrian Women's Day, which symbolizes love, tolerance, and patience.
The Zoroastrian woman is characterized by strong personality and willpower, participating side by side with men in struggle and combat. Women and men have equal rights, and it is not permissible to marry more than one wife except in very special cases to preserve her dignity. Women, men, girls, and boys have the same rights in all areas of life, with equality in ownership, religious and judicial ranks.
