The fifth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party visits the Zoroastrian representation in Baghdad A delegation from the fifth branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, led by Hewal Azad Hamid Shafi, head of the branch, and his accompanying delegation, visited today, Tuesday, 9/9/2025, the Zoroastrian representation building in Baghdad. The delegation was received by Ms. Doha Jassim, director of the Office of Relations at the representation.. Dr. Haider Asfoure, head of the Zoroastrian representation, welcomed them, appreciating this visit, which reflects the spirit of openness and communication between different religious and national components in Iraq and the Kurdistan region. During the meeting, the importance of consolidating the values of peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among all components was emphasized, and the need to promote cooperation and coordination on common issues that serve society was stressed, contributing to building a future characterized by stability, diversity, and unity. Hewal Azad presented a bouquet of flowers to the head of the representation, Dr. Haider Asfoure.. Then, Dr. Asfoure, head of the Zoroastrian representation, presented a book titled 'The History of Zoroastrianism from its beginnings to the twentieth century' to the head of the branch and his accompanying delegation. After that, Ms. Doha, director of relations at the representation, presented gifts to the delegation accompanying the head of the fifth branch.
