In a step that reflects the role of Iraq's original components in promoting global peace values, the presidency of the Zoroastrian representation in the Republic of Iraq granted a "certificate of appreciation and honor" to little Ariana Olshievskaya, a second-grade student at Minsk Secondary School No. 16 in the Republic of Belarus.
This honor was given in appreciation for Ariana's distinguished international humanitarian initiative in developing what is known as "children's diplomacy," and her efforts to promote peaceful dialogue and mutual understanding between different peoples, despite her young age.
The representation stated in its official book issued by the main office in Baghdad, signed by the head of the representation, Mr. Haider Abdullah Asfour, that the initiative presented by little Ariana is a source of pride, emphasizing that all divine religions and laws call for love and peace.
This gesture confirms the humanitarian message carried by the Zoroastrian component in Iraq, and its openness to global initiatives that plant the seeds of brotherhood and harmony between countries, from the capital Baghdad to the world.
