Dr. Haider Asfour received an official invitation from the presidency of the International Social Chamber to participate in a meeting of its Presidential Council scheduled for April 22nd. The meeting's agenda features a broad international movement to consecrate the values of justice and protect civilians and holy sites from the repercussions of global conflicts.
The meeting will witness a qualitative turning point with the launch of the "Child Diplomacy" project, led by Ariana Olchivskaya, as an innovative tool to build bridges of peace across emerging generations. It is hoped that the meeting will produce a closing statement that determines practical paths to enhance peaceful dialogue and activate the role of humanitarian peacekeeping missions in areas of tension, seeking to establish a new model of people's diplomacy capable of facing the challenges of the current international situation.
