The UNAMI mission visited the Zoroastrian Representation in Baghdad to review the overall situation of the community, progress, and challenges that accompanied the past and current periods. The visit is important not only for the Zoroastrians but also to assess the peaceful coexistence among diverse components. Mr. Oudema (UN Minorities File Officer) was gifted a bouquet of colorful flowers with the inscription (Our homeland is like a bouquet of colorful flowers, and it is much more beautiful than a bouquet of flowers of a single color), reflecting the extent of progress in the areas of peaceful coexistence, social fabric, and the diverse Iraqi identity after the events that Iraq went through.
