In Baghdad, under the slogan 'We move forward to achieve sustainable regional security,' the annual conference hall of the Community Police turned into an open dialogue space that brought together security leaders and Interior Minister Abd al-Amir Al-Shammari, alongside representatives of ministries, diplomatic missions, and civil society organizations. Amidst this gathering, the presence of the head of the Zoroastrian representation in Iraq, Dr. Haider Asfūr, stood out, as he participated with his accompanying delegation as part of a religious and social vision seeking to consolidate the values of cooperation between security institutions and society.

Strategic partnership between belief and national duty

Dr. Asfūr did not merely deliver a formal greeting; he presented a intellectual and humanitarian stance when he emphasized that partnership with security agencies represents a fundamental pillar in building a cohesive society. He pointed out that community police are not only concerned with enforcing the law but also with enhancing trust between citizens and the state, a mission that cannot succeed without the participation of various religions and sects in supporting this approach.

The conference… a platform for community security achievements

The conference revealed achievements and strategic plans presented by the Community Police Directorate, highlighting how civil society, including religious minorities, can be a partner in addressing negative phenomena and protecting social fabric. This Zoroastrian presence reflects that religious diversity in Iraq is not an obstacle but a strength that can be invested in for the sake of security and stability.

The interaction of elites and leaders with the Zoroastrian message

The diverse presence of tribal sheikhs, youth groups, and civil society organizations interacted positively with the Zoroastrian representation's discourse, which gave the participation a dimension that goes beyond symbolism to actual impact in shaping a comprehensive national discourse.

Conclusion: Zoroastrians are partners in security, not just guests

The presence of Zoroastrians at this event was not merely a protocolary presence; it was a practical confirmation that protecting community security is a shared responsibility that transcends religious affiliations. By supporting community police, they prove that religious minorities in Iraq are capable of contributing to shaping a more secure and cohesive future. With this active presence, the Zoroastrians outlined their role in building bridges of trust between citizens and security institutions, making them an integral part of the sustainable security project in Iraq.
